October is almost here, the weather is getting colder, and the Historic Odessa Foundation has a great line up of events and exhibits for you to enjoy all month long! HOF Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness MonthEvery evening throughout the month of October the Historic Odessa Foundation’s buildings will be awash in pink light in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Visitors can stop by after dusk to view the landmarks in all of their pink splendor. Learn more about this event » Shakespeare, Poe & FriendsDelaware Shakespeare Festival returns to a world of specters and spirits this October with a performance of “Shakespeare, Poe & Friends: A Night of Readings from the Dark Side,” at Historic Odessa's Stone Stable. The performance will take place at on Friday, October 12 at 7:30 pm. Bailey, an award winning native born Delaware sculptor, has been carving various kinds of stone for over fifty years. He will be hosting a reception and lecture on Sunday, October 7 at 2 pm for those interested in learning about his wonderfully sculpted stone figures and creatures. This exhibit opens Tuesday, October 9 and continuing through December 30, 2018.
