From the rolling dunes of Cape Henlopen State Park and Cape Cod National Seashore to the industrial buildings surrounding Baltimore Harbor, this selection of paintings by Denise Dumont reflect the artist’s view of the landscape of the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond.

About the Artist
Denise Dumont’s paintings are inspired by the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and Delaware Bay and by the places she’s come to know along the New England coast.
Dumont earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1984 from Parsons School of Design in New York City and also studied at the School of the Visual Arts. She has won awards for landscape painting from the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover and from juried competitions throughout Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland.
Born in New York City, the artist currently lives in Milton, Delaware where she continues to paint beautiful landscapes throughout Delaware and the surrounding states.
