Middletown Transcript Highlights 2016 Christmas in Odessa

The Middletown Transcript joined our Christmas in Odessa tours of the Polk House, Collin-Sharp, and other properties to view the festive decorations and historical demonstrations held for the holiday season.
The Women's Club of Odessa hosts an annual Christmas tour to raise money for student scholarships in the Appoquinmink School District. This year they hosted a bake sale, item resale, and book sale to raise funds for students.

- Nutcracker Holiday exhibit: closes Dec. 31
- Storybook Trees exhibit: closes Dec. 31
- Holiday school tours: closes Dec. 31
- Candlelight tours: 7 p.m. Dec. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15 and 20
- Festive foods/hearth cooking demonstration: 10 a.m. Dec. 10 and 17
- Paint Your Own Nutcracker: 2 p.m. Dec. 11
- Children's Storybook time: noon and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14
- Curator candlelight tour: 7 p.m. Dec. 22
