Washington Magazine Recommends Odessa

With the coverage it's been getting lately, Historic Odessa may not be a “best kept secret” for much longer. 

“Get a feel for Delaware’s long history on a tour of the Historic Houses of Odessa,” reads the March/April/May 2016 DC Metro Plus magazine. The article, “Plan a Getaway for Two,” explores much of what Delaware has to offer as an easy drive from the nation’s capital. 

The article also profiles Richmond, Va., about equidistant down I-95 in the other direction.

DC Metro Plus extols the beauties of Odessa and (naturally) recommends Cantwell’s Tavern for lunch, all part of a fun, romantic ramble through Northern Delaware that also includes New Castle, Nemours Mansion and the Delaware Art Museum, among other locales. 

It seems Washingtonians might be getting wind of what we already know—Historic Odessa is a great place to visit!
