Tours leave from the Visitor’s Center at 2pm on Dec. 4th. Tickets are $5 per person. Paint Your Own NutcrackerBring the whole family to paint your own wooden nutcracker at 2pm on Dec. 11th. Join guided tour of the Christmas exhibit, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, and find inspiration for painting your own nutcracker. All the materials are included in this family workshop. StoryBook TimeWonderful stories, delicious holiday cookies, and exploring the Wilson-Warner House as it is transformed into a winter wonderland! From 12-1:30pm on Dec. 14th, parents and children K – 5th grade are welcome for storytime, cookie decorating and a tour of our holiday exhibit (parents and preschoolers are wlecome at 4-6pm). Candlelight ToursYou are invited to step back in time through the doors of the Historic Odessa Foundation with candlelight tours of our 2016 holiday exhibit. Enjoy champagne and festive treats in front of a roaring fire at the Collins-Sharp House, c.1700. Tickets are $15 per person – Reservations are required by calling 302-378-4119. Tours also take place Dec. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15 and 20 with a special candlelight tour hosted by the curator on Dec. 22. Festive FoodsTop off your holiday tour as the Historic Odessa Foundation hearth cooks prepare a sumptuous holiday feast. On Dec 10th and 17th, you will be able to see a historical demonstration at the Collins-Sharp House from 10am-3pm.
