Sweet Treats Hearth Cooking Workshop

The crackle of a blazing fire, the bubbles ascending in a flute of fine champagne, the delicious flavor of sumptuous sweet treats…..Join us in the Collins-Sharp House for a hearth cooking workshop featuring mouth watering 18th century sweets and desserts. With the assistance of our costumed hearth cooks, create a delicious sweet potato pudding you can prepare and take home and serve to your family using the tools, techniques and recipes of the 18th century. Enjoy champagne and sample other sweets typically found on the colonial table after a candlelight tour of the Corbit-Sharp House. Participation will be limited.
