New Volunteer Open House, February 10th
Join us as we celebrate volunteering at Historic Odessa!
The Historic Odessa Foundation is committed to making a difference in our community, Delaware, and the region through historic preservation and education. The vital work involved in conserving the historic legacy of Odessa, its landmark properties, grounds and collections, today and for generations couldn't be done without the dedication, passion, and amazing support of our volunteers.
If history, education and preservation are among your passions, then consider joining us on Saturday, Feb. 10th or Sunday, Feb. 11th to learn about the variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities available at Historic Odessa. They include:
- Become a docent and lead guided tours of our museum houses for the public, groups and schools (4 days a month)
- Exercise your green thumb by helping beautify and maintain HOF's grounds and gardens (1 day a month)
- Catalog the past and delve into research files and other library materials (1 day a week)
- Help greet and ticket visitors to Historic Odessa as a receptionist (several days a month)
- Help support our special events held during the holidays and our annual Odessa Brewfest (periodically)
Enjoy light refreshments after your tour!
