Holiday Candlelight Tour Hosted by Associate Curator SOLD OUT!
Get into the Christmas spirit by attending a special evening candlelight guided tour offered by the curator of the Christmas exhibit, Oliver Twist; or, The Parish Boy’s Progress at the National Historic Landmark, Corbit-Sharp House, of 1774.
Rediscover the beloved 1838 classic children’s novel by Charles Dickens while learning about the inspiration and process behind the furnishings and decorations for each room vignette.
At the end of the personal tour enjoy beverages at the National Historic Register Cantwell’s Tavern, c.1822. This event is perfectly suited for the entire family! Come celebrate the museum’s 34th anniversary of classic children’s literature themed holiday exhibits with this newly created exhibit that was first produced by the museum back in 1997.
