Mapping America 1570-1916: The H. Rodney Sharp Map Collection

H. Rodney Sharp collected maps and displayed them in his home, “Gibraltar”, in Wilmington. His particular interest focused on North America and the mid-Atlantic region, and many of these maps were acquired by reference to 18th century William Corbit inventories for display in the National Historic Landmark Corbit-Sharp house restored by Mr. Sharp.

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Kitchen gardens were an essential part of daily life in historic Odessa.  Walk through the Collins-Sharp garden and explore the wide range of plants which were cultivated for use in cooking, medicines and even the cleaning bucket.  Gather herbs and flowers to create your own 18th century sachet. 

Cost is $5 for each participant/free to members.
